In my experience, I've noticed that many coaches tend to place a significant emphasis on themselves – their credentials, achievements, and accolades. However, I firmly believe that coaching should revolve around you, the client, and your needs, rather than being centered solely on the coach.

What Inspired My Journey into Career and Business Coaching?
My journey into career and business coaching was sparked by a unique opportunity provided by my employer. They generously supported my enrollment in an external program to enhance my skill set. Upon careful consideration, I recognized this as a chance to pursue something that deeply interested me – an avenue that could not only benefit my current corporate career but also potentially serve as a pathway beyond the corporate world.
My fascination with life coaching had always been present, so I embarked on a coaching certification program. Here, I honed my focus, discovering my niche in working with highly talented and driven individuals aiming to ascend to the next level of their careers.
For more than ten years, I've been deeply involved in the healthcare technology sector—an arena characterized by administrative obstacles yet driven by a noble goal of improving the lives of healthcare providers and patients. Despite its lack of glamour, this industry stands as undeniably crucial.
In my capacity as a project manager, I've led a diverse array of projects, spanning from the expansion of established household name enterprises to the nurturing of emerging startups. Throughout these endeavors, I've provided guidance to numerous individuals on essential principles such as prioritization, meeting deadlines, and building trust in both myself and the products I advocate for.
Apart from the technical skills required for my job, I've also encountered various forms of adversity within the corporate environment.I've observed the heart-wrenching sight of longstanding colleagues being escorted out of the office due to layoffs, experiencing this scenario multiple times, each occasion leaving me deeply saddened. I've found myself in toxic work cultures where leadership was detrimental rather than supportive. I've taken on new roles with minimal to no training. I've been a shoulder for colleagues who cried about remaining in unsuitable positions or companies solely for financial reasons. I've collaborated closely with team members who consistently went above and beyond without receiving any recognition during review cycles. These experiences, among others, have deeply influenced me and fueled my passion to support individuals in navigating their career paths and reaching new levels of success.

In developing the name and brand for my endeavor, "Elevation Career Coaching," I relied heavily on the insights of trusted friends. Their willingness to offer judgment-free feedback was invaluable, and I'm grateful for their support.
My primary objective for each client is to foster exploration and illuminate the possibilities ahead. I understand that the journey to success is rarely a straightforward path, despite our wishes for it to be so.

My guiding philosophy likens the pursuit of business growth or career advancement to ascending a mountain. We set our sights on the summit and often share our aspirations with those closest to us. While preparation is essential, true success requires grit and determination. We may face self-doubt and obstacles that threaten to derail us, but ultimately, the decision to take that first step lies within us. Along the journey, we encounter unforeseen challenges and may need to reassess our course or even temporarily retreat. Yet, with perseverance, we can navigate these obstacles and reach new heights.
